If you decide on the variant with the kinect sensor, then the Xbox (360 or One) will "capture" your movements, and your body will become the controller of what is happening on the screen! So you can e.g. play volleyball, tennis, boxing, bowling alone or in company and be active while playing! This is an ideal combination for company and parties.
